Jane Conner-ziser bio
Jane is an independent consultant and teacher for the professional photography industry. With over 25 years of experience, 19 of them in digital imaging and evolving technologies, the techniques Jane developed for facial retouching and enhancement and portrait painting are widely used in today’s pro studios and labs. She is a beta tester for Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Elements and Corel Painter. Jane’s projects have spanned across a large segment of the studio photography market – freelance art, photography, lab systems, digital imaging, Internet, teaching PhotoShop and Painter, fine arts, writing for industry publications and developing /educating on marketing/selling images with new technologies. Jane has served on the Digital and Advanced Imaging Committee for the Professional Photographers of America.
Jim Divitale bio
His award winning digital photography has been featured in, among others, “Graphis Photo,” “Print,” “Archive Magazine,” “Creativity,” “Professional Photographer,” “PEI,” “Digital Output Magazine,” and “Photo District News.” Jim has lectured before audiences at Seybold, Photo Plus, Photoshopworld, Imaging USA, ASMP, HOW Design, and World Council of Professional Photographers. He has made presentations to students and faculty at Art Schools nationwide including Brooks Institute, San Francisco’s Academy of Art, and The Portfolio Center. As a member of NAPP’s Instructor Dream Team, Jim writes a monthly column on digital capture for “Photoshop User Magazine.”
Helene Glassman bio
Helene Glassman is a photographer/businesswoman in Santa Barbara, California and Atlanta,Georgia. Her company, Imagery Photography, has been a well-respected and successful portrait- event and fine art studio in Southern California since 1982. Educated in music and art at the University of Memphis, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, as well as a Masters degree in Communications. Her creative juices have been rounded out with a Bachelor of Science in photography at the Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara. She also holds the Master of Photography, and Photographic Craftsman degrees awarded by Professional Photographers of America.
Randy Hufford bio
When you call Randy Hufford at the Institute of Visual Arts on Maui, you will hear him answer, “It’s a great day in Paradise!” He loves to share his enthusiasm! One of Randy’s greatest passions is creating and selling his fine art images in galleries throughout Hawaii and the World. A true craftsman, he is in control of the whole process from capture and editing, to printing and finishing his fine art pieces.
Randy has been a very prolific commercial photographer working for such clients as Mercedes Benz, TimeMagazine, Sheraton Hotels, Hyatt Regency Hotels, Marriott Hotels, RitzCarlton, Kobe Steakhouse, Maui Jim Sunglasses, Charisma Magazine, Surfing Magazine, Professional Photographers of America and Peterson’s Photographic Magazine.
John Hugg bio
Award-winning Maui artist John A. Hugg is NOT a painter, but many people think he is. John’s digital photographic Fine Art pieces, which he prints and sells primarily as “premier giclees” on canvas, definitely take on the aspect of paintings.
His specialty is capturing images that other people don’t even notice, which he brings to life using a combination of imagination and digital expertise. One of his greatest pleasures is seeing and hearing people react to the images he produces.
Internationally acclaimed painter Robert Lyn Nelson is among those who enjoy and collect John’s art.

He’s a cohost of the top rated video podcast Photoshop TV and has written 5 books on Photoshop and Illustrator including the Photoshop CS2 Speed Clinic, Photoshop CS2 Savvy and Illustrator CS2 Killer Tips. Ray Mains bio
Award-winning photographer Ray Mains is considered one of the best in the islands. Compiling a stock photo collection of more than 100,000 images since 1978, Ray is consistently recognized for his artistic aerial images of Hawaii and his extensive scenic, commercial, underwater and portrait photography.
Ray’s photos have appeared in local and national publications, including National Geographic, TIME, Newsweek, USA Today, Oceans, Skin Diver, Sports Illustrated, Honolulu magazine, Hawai’i Magazine and Aloha Magazine. He contributed to numerous books about Hawai’i including Maui On My Mind, Discovery-The Hawaiian Odyssey, The Hawai’i Canoe, Road to Hana, Sun In Hawai’i and Maui Bound.
